So you have found the perfect puppy to add to your family...you placed a deposit and he/she is on hold for you and now what?!?
Patiently waiting is so hard but here are some tips to get you ready for when you pick up your new baby!
At pick up, we will include a contract and a packet filled with information needed to help you care for your little one. You can always email or text us if you have additional questions as well!
Your puppy will also have a blanket/toy with siblings/moms scent to help them with their transition to their new loving home!
We will also include a food sample of Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice which will last you for a few days. You can change it to whatever you like after a few days, as we don’t want them to have an upset belly. If you want to keep them on this food, they carry it at HEB now and tractor supply in the blue bag.
They will be socialized and played with by a 14 year old, 7 year old and 3 year old (probably carried around and dressed up as well 😂) Puppies are raised inside our home but as they get bigger we do allow them to play on the porch , in the yard, and take adult supervised excursions outside on our property.
We recommend getting some puppy pads or saving up newspaper to keep up the potty training.
-Most Puppies leave for their new home at the 7th week or 8th week, which is what AKC recommends.(See article below) Please plan on scheduling your pick up with us as the date approaches. We only do scheduled pickups, and we may have several pickups in a day so please be on time so it doesn’t affect someone else’s pick up.
All puppies will be vet checked before leaving and up to date on shots and worming. We will give you a copy of this record at pick up!
We also give you a list of future dates for their upcoming wormings and shots!
