Puppies leave at 7th - 8th week what AKC recommends

Each Vet, Breeder and person has their own opinion about when a puppy should go to their new home.

Some say 6 weeks, some say 8 weeks, some say 12 weeks and each breeder can do what they feel is in the best interest for their pups. My puppies are interacted with daily inside my home with 3 kids so they are used to the household sounds, and get daily interaction.

Most of our puppies leave for their new home at the 7th week or 8th week, which is what AKC recommends unless there is an issue otherwise. Texas State licensed breeders require them to be 8 weeks. We are not licensed by the state because we do not have the max number of breeding dogs but we may look into expanding in the future.

All  puppies will be vet checked before leaving and up to date on shots and worming. We will give you a copy of this record at pick up!

We also give you a list of future dates for their upcoming wormings and shots!
